PT Jagad Mandiri Marine conducted the Technical Guidance Program for State Patrol Vessel Maintenance on 11–12 February 2026 as part of its commitment to supporting the enhancement of technical competency and operational excellence within Indonesia’s maritime sector. The program was designed to strengthen participants’ technical knowledge and practical capabilities in the maintenance and operation of state patrol vessels to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and operational readiness.
This program was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation, Directorate General of Sea Transportation, Sea and Coast Guard Unit, together with technical stakeholders and representatives from the maritime industry. The activity served as a strategic platform for knowledge sharing and professional development in the field of marine engineering and vessel maintenance.
Throughout the program, participants received comprehensive technical instruction covering marine engine operating systems, preventive and corrective maintenance procedures, fault identification, troubleshooting techniques, and safety standards related to patrol vessel maintenance operations. The training also introduced participants to advanced marine propulsion technology, including systems utilized in the Volvo Penta D16 engine, which plays a significant role in supporting operational efficiency, durability, and the reliability of maritime patrol fleets.
In addition to classroom-based theoretical sessions, the program incorporated practical learning activities through technical discussions, case studies, and live demonstrations of marine engine maintenance procedures. These hands-on sessions were intended to enhance participants’ understanding of real-world applications and strengthen their technical problem-solving skills in operational environments.
Through this initiative, it is expected that the competence and professionalism of human resources in the fields of maritime surveillance and shipping operations will continue to improve, thereby supporting the safe, effective, and sustainable operation of state patrol vessels.
